I saw Deerhunter and Times New Viking play twice in two days...once in Baton Rouge and once in New Orleans. In a way, seeing the same thing against two different backdrops helped to highlight what I love and hate about both cities. I definitely enjoyed last night's show more, mostly because of the crowd and the sound at One Eyed Jack's. Chelsea's just didn't attract that many people, and some of the people that showed up were laaaaaaaaaaaaaame.
